Re: Primegrid Tour de Primes 1st - 28th February
The February results haven’t quite been finalised but a handy brace of results on the final day have improved our score quite a bit.
Our tally is now 8 primes, 5 of them Mega primes.
We are 17th overall. Not too bad for a wee non-specialist team.

Re: Primegrid Tour de Primes 1st - 28th February
Miklos has found another Mega Prime.
288601570131072+1 (1,108,909 digits)
Which makes 5 so far, 3 of them Mega primes. Nice!
[Edit: And I’m waiting for it to be confirmed but I think I’ve got another Mega Prime.]

Re: Primegrid Tour de Primes 1st - 28th February
Two more Primes for our February haul.
Gregg got an utterly huge Mega Prime 284831742131072+1 (1,108,160 digits)
And I bagged the rather more petite 6063*22179330+1. (656,048 digits)
That’s 4 in total for the team. Still 20 days to go.

Primegrid Tour de Primes 1st - 28th February
Okay folks, this is a simple one, just run Primegrid and collect as many primes as you can during the month of February. Not easy mind you - 24hrs in and only 12 individuals, representing 10 teams and with a measly 14 small primes between them have so far troubled the leaderboard. http://www.primegr...

Fair enough Gregg.
As it is, there are 4 of doing the latest PG challenge: Miklos, myself, Wailing Angus Beef and Laird o’ th’ Wee White Hoose.
After a slightly sluggish start we are now up to 28th. Not bad but I’m sure we can improve on it.
