Most impressive, scole! I've just re-entered after a long layoff, and I see there's quite a lot of work to be done. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I have fallen no lower than 27th overall. It's back to semi-serious crunching for me. All hail the jolly members of TSBT!

Computation errors

Of a sudden, I've begun dumping Collatz results by the bitbucketful due to "computation error". Any one else having that problem, or any idea of what I might do to eliminate this problem?

Re: SPLIT CPID's / Accounts

I'm thinking that sync is problematic for certain projects for roughly forever. :? I have two IDs on BAM (with Spinhenge and QMC in the 'flier') and three on Temujin's (one blank (Predictor?), one with QMC, and one with the rest. The credit numbers match up only approximately between the two for ind...

Re: SPLIT CPID's / Accounts

I still have three accounts with Temujin, but one is a null (Predictor, I presume), and one contains the still-moribund QMC which I have updated. So I guess mine is as good as it gets, pending QMC's return to the living. I assume there's no way to get rid of the null one.

Re: Split CPIDs and how to fix them.

It's been several days; for the first 2-3 days, things were changing. For the past 2-3, no changes. Predictor is alone in the third ID, is it not? I can't touch that. The second holds ABC and QMC, which *should* sync up, I guess. I have updated everything I can, so I guess I just wait and hope. Than...

Re: Split CPIDs and how to fix them.

For Cyclone Ranger the 4 projects that are split are Dnet ( dead ), QMC, ABC and predictor ( probabily dead ). Do you use Bamstats ? your ABC account is here http://abcathome.com/show_user.php?userid=13861 log in and check your e mail address and password and then connect it to your computer. your ...

OK, changed 14 to 18, and so far I've seen a nominal tempt increase (+/- 2degC) and no change in performance -- still running probably mid-30 minutes per cuda task. My BOINC Manager shows the following task info: "Running (0.264 CPUs +1 NVIDIA GPU)" for a (cuda23) task

Is that typical? Are my cores being used primarily on non-GPU tasks, and how can I tell how efficiently I am processing tasks?

Thanks in advance!
