Noticed your question on the use of SSD, I too have one of these. And nothing wrong with using it, BUT, if you want to avoide too many writes to the SSD, do as I did and install Boinc on your second HD (assuming you have one).

Thanks lads.......The real bonus is that after such acclamation the toaster has been left speechless :D The logic behind upgrading the croft a while back was that I could run the machine for half the time, still produce the same work rate as previous, and half the leccy bill. Yay, a good effort by all. I spent my time strugling to stay at about 67th. My claim to fame was 19th fastest machine by RAC. I'll push on for a while yet, I recon I can give those GTX580's a run for their money :D

Application changed this afternoon round about 14:13. At which point my machine stopped crunching. Reset primegrid and got new WU.s.

Well now, there's a thing !

Sorry I missed the Twitter three days ago.

I've now got the GPU's onto Primegrid, and whoooosh, 48,000 in one hour on a pair of oc' Gigabyte GTX470 (soc), these cards runnig sweet at 800/1600/900(x4).

It's Christmas :D
