#1 Hail King & Alez! & Related Observations.
The Butterfly Miner powered Juggernaut that is Alez has finally squashed me underwheel and once more I am deposed from the TSBT top slot. It's fine! I don't want your pity! I've been here many times before . And I always come back to the top!
So assuming Myshortpencil, as a transatlantic visitor, is barred from the Team Monarchy [mind you, I don't want to be opening up any 1936 wounds here ] , I must pass the crown to Alez.
Hail King Alez! :wav:
In the last 24 hours Myshortpencil has passed 4 billion, moving into 59th place overall and Alez & I both passed 3 billion and Alez is in 86th (up 249 places in the last month ) and I am recovering a little to 92nd.
This chronicle of ridiculous progress would be incomplete without mention of scole who has completed 2.5 billion and will overtake me within the next week (although he has his work cut out to catch Alez) and is already listed at 109th overall, up a mind-boggling 1102 places in the last month.
Interesting times indeed!

Thank you, I will accept the crown ( temporary or not depending on the whims of Dr D.A ) ..... but we both know who is the power behind the throne boss.

Yes, congratulations, Alez! I really have to get out of here before he passes me! Hopefully, before I leave, we'll be able to do a 1-billion-credit day. :) But, my timing may be off.

Huzzah! Huzzah!
What if Myshortpencil would like to stay? Would keep alez on his toes. Otherwise I fear he may get fat and lazy. The only thing better than a new team member is a new team member that crunches 150,000,000 per day.
Strange days indeed. Strange days indeed.

Indeed. Longtime no post. I was beginning to worry that all this Bitcoin Barminess was frightening off all the honest normal crunchers so it's good to see you back.scole250 wrote:Well, it's not the elusive PinkPenguin! Welcome back.
UBT aren't so much on the horizon as immediately in front of us caught in our headlamps. If Myshortpencil stays with us then we should have made up the 785 million gap by breakfast time on Saturday. Amazeballs!

Welcome home to the elusive Mr Penguin, long time no hear. Was beginning to fear we had lost your presence.

Well that's me made 11 digits and 28th in the world. Hopefully, in not long, will be the highest placed UK based cruncher in the world
Scole should follow me into the 11 digit club some time very soon as well

I sure hope you get your miners 100% soon. Mr. Pencil has apparently decided to become a permanent fixture at UBT. I don't really have any ambitions to take the #1 spot, but if UBT gets too close I'm going to have to implement operation Romeo Kilo Bravo Oscar Xray.

Do it mate
I'm away from home, trying to get fixed through my kid. Hopefully numbers will start to pick up again today but don't hold back on my account. If you have more available, then worry not about my position ( I don't, as Mega said positions come and go ), worry about ' them ' in the rear view mirror.
I would far rather TSBT on top than myself on top of the team.
I had my suspicions that UBT had a acquired a slightly more permanent fixture than we were led to believe.

Yo scole is TSBT Decabillionaire #2! :wav:
With the CPDN hyperinflation I hadn't realised just how well you two were doing or that the gap was so close.
The world positions are:
Alez 26th
Scole 30th
Mega 58th
Which is nice.
And we will be past KWSN by tomorrow.
UBT are a week behind us at current catchup rates so don't hold back with that secret weapon!

Well my ASICs have cratered again....PITA. Scole, release the hounds, I've no problems chasing you down again later, as I'm sure Mega has no problem hunting us both down. Run Scole, Run

We have overtaken the mighty Knights Who Say Ni! to grab 12th. :wav:
UBT are hot on our heels thanks to their Transatlantic visitor, and our erstwhile chum, who obviously deems them way more in need of his charitable bounty than little old us. I suppose we should see it as a compliment to our ability to fight our own corner. :)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sildenafil ... e_sickness
"SNIP"
Altitude sickness
Sildenafil has been shown to be useful for the prevention and treatment of high-altitude pulmonary edema associated with altitude sickness such as that suffered by mountain climbers.[8][9] While this effect has only recently been discovered, sildenafil is already becoming an accepted treatment for this condition, in particular in situations where the standard treatment of rapid descent has been delayed for some reason.
