Simap apps run approx 2hrs 15 mins on my droids for approx 16 credits. Approx 7.11 credits/hr. Had a few errors but they were all timed out units when I got sent a bunch with a 6 hour deadline ? Normal deadline seems to be 6 days or so. Data added to our list.

GPUGrid credit posted up. Seems to be the same as Enigma for my droids making it the joint best paying project on Android. Waiting to get / complete some Collatz units

prime grid have disabled Android because of a problem.
I don't want to run Collatz as that's not going to help my credit imbalance any

I haven't had any since 7/3 but the server status does state that there are 900+ tasks ready to send. The apps are listed as cpu only units. Guess check your gpugrid preferences are set to allow cpu tasks.

GPUGrid on U3 giving @ 10 credits / hr for the CPU only tasks. Guess credit new has struck there to.

The Odroid was expensive because of the Android eMMC, power supply and heat sink w/fan but it performs the worst.
The R42s are all Android TV boxes which came with power supply, HDMI cable, RCA cables and already loaded with Android. I did perform a fan mod on all of them and one had to have a heat sink added. One performs slightly better than the others. Not sure why.
The M8 is also an Android TV box and required the same fan mod for cooling.
If I experiment with any others, I'll probably get an Android TV box with a RK3288 quad-core Cortex-A17 1.8 Ghz chip. They're costing around $90 (US) currently.

The RK3188 that performs the best is one of the good ones from the center of the platlet and will overclock to 1.8GHz as that was what they were originally sold as. The 1.6GHz is for one core only. If you look at them with cpuz you will see that they downclock as each core comes on line and I'll bet the best one stays one downclock above the others.
6 of my droids are RK3188's and they are more cost effective than my 4 ordroid u2's but the U's are far, far less prone to locking up or loosing the network connection.

I think this has been covered, but I'll ask anyway. Is there a ROM you can flash the RK3188 with that will prevent it from downclocking?

No. Downclocking is hardwired into the very nature of the chips due to temp and voltage limitations.
You could search for a finless bob kernel to overclock ( which I did on all my RK3188's ) but it will not stop the downclock, though you might be able to keep them 1 clock higher. The main reason I did it was to make the units more efficient as it removed all the bloatware normally installed.

Not a detailed credit comparison, but these quad core android boxes are crunching 27K enigma/day . 9 systems, each with 4 cores drawing maybe 10 watts each, 90 watts total. Just an example of low power crunching...
