#1 64-bit SBCs

Post by Dirk Broer »

The 64-bit ARM chips are being pushed to the market, just like a few years ago with the x86 architecture. What can you buy?

MicroSDup to 256 GBup to 64 GBup to 64 GBup to 256GB boot disk (FAT32) up to 32GBup to 64 GB
To be save, partition SD cards bigger than 32 GB into 32 GB partitions with 32k sectors, and do that at least with the boot partition.
For some reason the SBCs seem confined to the Cortex-A53, we're still awaiting the advent of the more powerful Cortex-A57 and A72 boards.

Not sure where to post this. Figure here is as a good a place as any.

Amicable Numbers has a 64 bit ARM linux app. Read more about it here....https://sech.me/boinc/Amicable/forum_thread.php?id=37

Looks like the perfect place to post, 64-bit ARM app with 64-bit ARM board
The table below (for me, I have the most recent post on top. It will be above for most of you) used to look good, and I can't edit it. :crybaby:

Table fixed for you. When you say you can't edit, do you mean make it work or you have no permission to edit ?
code has changed between earlier phpbb and 3.2 version. I don't think it recognises
text
amongst others

The new code for a 2x2 table is ( add [ before each line to make it function. )

size=130]Table Title
table=30,null][thead]
[th=50,null]Title1[/th][th=50,null]Title2[/th]
[/thead]
tbody]
Text11Text21
tr=bg1]Text12Text22
[/tbody]
for 3 it's

size=130]Table Title
table=45,null][thead]
[th=33,null]Title1[/th][th=33,null]Title2[/th][th=34,null]Title3[/th]
[/thead]
tbody]
Text11Text21Text31
tr=bg1]Text12Text22Text32
tr=bg2]Text13Text23Text33
[/tbody]
When I say I can't edit I mean that I cannot create tables (or restore my previous tables to the new format) :violin:

So you still have no table in the APC ? I have absolutely no idea why as you have the same posting permission as i do. Will take another look but i am completely stumped why this is. All i can say is sorry.

There must be more to it than mere posting permissions. :cry:

Went throught that all before I enabled it. If I log in with your permissions I can post a table, in fact you basically have all the same permissions as me bar viewing who's on the board etc. Haven't given up but can't find a reason why you can't post a table. Very frustrating.

McShane of TSBT wrote: Wed Mar 15, 2017 2:54 am Sorry to say this but I also have no ability to create a table, not that I want to at the moment. However, nothing changed here, no icon shown for a table option.
I think we all have the needed rights/permissions, but no icon to show for it, let alone to press.
