The Scottish Boinc Team

I have created a Boinc wide team that should be available on all project called Anguillan Pirates.
It has been linked back to us here at TSBT. through the team info and joining instructions, but credits will be retained on Anguillan Pirates, not on TSBT.
Feel free to use it if you want to test new projects etc without cluttering up your TSBT account.

Please note Credits gained on Anguillan Pirates will not transfer to yout TSBT account Boinc does and will continue to treat it as a separate team.

I have decided to transfer my BU account from TSBT to Anguillan Pirates until there is a clear consensus within the team on whether or we wish to continue to crunch BU as a team effort or not. I personally wish to continue to support milkyway and BAMStats through BU. Crunching through Anguillan Pirates means that it is now my personal choice to run BU and TSBT and members of TSBT will not be tainted by association with BU unless this is the wish of the team to continue to do so.

I'm heading back for now. Must help fend off Team China. How did you "move" your credits already crunched for TSBT?

I didn't, your credits follow you as a number when you switch teams, but it is an individual number on that project. My credit for BU transfered with me to Anguillan Pirates, but only as a total. All that I crunched for TSBT stays with the team hence why my individual totals went down ( as I am not doing BU for TSBT ) but the team total doesn't reduce as all that I crunched for TSBT stays with the team.
Same as what we crunched for AMDUsers goes to our individual accounts and to AMDUsers, but when we left the credit stayed with them.
Your individual credit is for you on the project, regardless of which teams you crunched it for, but each team keeps it's share when you leave. Does that make sense ?

I put a core from my laptop on the team every now and then to keep the team ' honest ' and do a days BU most weekends. So far Anguillan Pirates is sitting in 63rd .

Will give it a BU boost for a bit.
