About Spatiotemporal Quality of Service (QoS)
Spatiotemporal QoS is a research project founded by National Science Foundation (NSF). It uses Internet-connected computers to perform distributed web service evaluation so that more accurate service quality information can be delivered to end users. You can participate by downloading and running a free program on your computer.

All they need is a desktop computer or laptop. Volunteers will be able to download the program to run on their computers as a background process whenever the computers are on, but not used to their full capacity.
