I bought a Butterfly Labs 60Gh/s unit too, but I wish I had paid attention to power use first. I don't have a tech shed though. It's in my office whining away. Getting awkward to have the techs pop their head in and ask "Is that your PC making that noise? We better have a look at it." Then I have to say "These are not the droids you're looking for" and send them away.

Could buy a Butterfly Labs 30 GH/s unit for 60 Euro, but after reading above I'll be glad to have found two USB antminers for a mere 15 Euro...

Not sure what Ebay sites you can buy from, but UK Ebay has the 32-37 Gh/s r-boxes going for as cheap as 20 Euro, 12 Euro for one with damaged fan cowling. Keep your eyes peeled. With new 100-110 Gh/s r-box 2's going for 89 Euro, the 32-27 Gh/s r-boxes have to get cheaper than the many listed at 40-50 Euro.

Be wary of the BU arms race though. The Rockminer ASICs (r-box/r3) hang/crash frequently and must be power cycled. It's getting to be way too much work. Taking the fun out of it.
