Well done. :salute:

I recently went from red-gold-silver to green-red-silver-bronze. Very close to getting the silver to gold.

I am about to change my first ruby for a second jade.
My hypothetical second badge has its fifth star being filled in at the moment
(one gold, one silver and two bronze at the moment).

Me too. Now I have an incentive to get all those projects sitting at 97 hours etc over the finishing line and get 10 badges.
In the next few days I should also be able to get that pesky blue star to turn a lovely shade of pink

A few more hours to get my 20 apps at 10k hours on WUProp, so close :bounce: just 40 more hours on Asteroids if they will actually give me some units that don't fail on download

Under normal circumstances I'd say your on but as I'm 6000 miles away from the devastation that is my fleet I'll have to give you a couple of weeks head start at least. I actually don't have that many apps left that could be promoted to bronze that are available with work unless I was to pointlessly join quake and radiation monitoring simply for the hours or allow bitcoin to run on my cpu's and gpu's which I have no intention of doing. At the moment I think I'm actually in need of 18 new apps. Need new work from mind modelling, cas , lattice etc :(

It is just a matter of being active in as much projects as you are able.
I am -this is a bragging thread, isn't it?- active in 45 projects at the moment
and try to have my 5th star go ruby, my 7th go gold and my 10th go bronze.

Ah, bragging eh :D I've got 57 projects currently on my laptop, 3 of which are probably dead.
I need another 17 apps to get my 10th star and have 85 apps sitting below the 100 hours necessary.
So many new Boinc projects never make it past the first few days or weeks ......

My current top 10 apps in hours

pogs-------------------fitsedwrapper-------------342,185.50
Enigma@Home----------Enigma 0.76b-------------120,417.60
World Community Grid--FightAIDS@Home - Vina -----44,039.65
Einstein@Home---------Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo, GPU)-------37,964.60
boincsimap-------------BOINCSIMAP simap application---36,357.05
Collatz Conjecture------Solo Collatz Conjecture----------29,668.10
PrimeGrid---------------PPS (Sieve)---------------------28,001.25
Bitcoin Utopia-----------cgminer (Campaign #3) (for 20+GH/s ASICs)----19,625.00

You may have 57 projects on your laptop, but you are #62 on the world's list of Clankers, having 32 of those projects as active (credit over the last month). I have 45 projects with credit over the last month, I am #6 on that list. Of the 79 projects I've crunched BOINCStats has declared 27 as retired/dead, so that leaves 52 projects on a given system of me. Guess I need more projects...But not like QMC or Almere, that only waste time and give you no credit to show.

Only 32 this month as I am on my 6th week being 6000 miles away from my systems so I tend to only run the projects that are 100 % or as close to 100% stable as I can. I test on my laptop as I always have it with me then allow on my systems once they play nice. Out here I have ran into quite a few of the project sites being randomly blocked by the various networks I have to use, some of them for extremely tenuous or plain bizarre reasons. I have even had Adidas blocked as potential adult content
Only 32 tut tut, at least I'm still #1 in my team for clanks :D
Almere etc have been retired by willy at BAMStats. see http://www.dunadd.co.uk/seti/forum/view ... 1&start=15
So far he has retired

ABC@home
AlmereGrid BoincGrid
AlmereGrid TestGrid
Climate@home
DistRTgen
IGem@home
OProject
renderfarm.fi
riojascience
QMC@home

There's a few on that list that will not be missed .....
When I finally get home from this tour I will attempt to up the number for better bragging :D

Did I see an explanation of clanks, MIRBs etc over at AMD ? If so could you post it or can I ' borrow ' it

I have indeed given an explanation for the 'funny stats' on AMD Users, I can post a expanded version of it here too. You might want to make it -or parts of it- a 'sticky', as you can start numerous bragging threads from this posting :P

A Vaio is given for those projects that you are in the top-four of your sign-on date.
Alez is TSBT's team champion here with 61 of them.

A Clank is given for the number of projects you are active in over the last 28 days.
Alez and davidSandilands are joint TSBT team champion here with 32 of them.

A Trigggl is for those projects where your score is between 10,000 and 10,100.
Buster Gunn is TSBT's team champion here with 14 of them.

A Bok is for those projects where your score is between 100,000 and 101,000.
MarkRBright is TSBT's team champion here with 5 of them.

A TeraBok is for those projects where your score is between 1,000,000 and 1,010,000.
The late Merlyn is still TSBT's team champion here with 7 of them.

A Gibson is for those projects where your score is between 10,000,000 and 10,100,000.
MarkRBright is TSBT's team champion here with 2 of them.

A Bozo is for those projects where your score is between 100,000,000 and 101,000,000.
There is no TSBT member with a score here.

A MiRB is given for the number of milestone categories in which you rank in the top 1000, excluding the MiRB category itself.
Alez and Merlyn are joint TSBT team champion here with 26 of them.

A TeraMiRB is given for the number of milestone categories in which you rank in the top 100, excluding the MiRB category itself.
Megacruncher and Merlyn are joint TSBT team champion here with 12 of them.

A Maxwell is a count of how many Mega Milestone categories that you have which are at least half of the top producer in that category -are ye still with me?
Megacruncher is TSBT's team champion here with 5 of them.

Please let me know if I have forgotten a category :bigsmurf:

P.S.: Reeltime is TSBT's team champion when it comes to the number of projects, having managed credits in 96 of them.

Sixty quid plus postage and packing? I'd rather go and acquire some soldering skills myself.
Dutch and Scottish people have one thing in common: we're real scrooges, money-wise.

BTW: only nine to go for my 10th star now, as Volpex got past 100 hours today.

Edit: They have done some revamping at the WUProp site, all of a sudden I seemed to have that 10th star!
It's all back to normal now though: still hard work to do

All the columns on your account page are now sortable making it even easier to see what apps you are working on or which app / projects you need to do more work on. A great improvement.
Hopefully have my next red badge to match dirk's first set of stars :D

The more shame that after precious metal and the gemstones WUProp comes with pigments -Alez's first star at the moment being 'magenta' and he is doubtlessly already gathering lime and cyan stars too...Even I have one of both :toothy8:

Dutch and Scottish people have one thing in common: we're real scrooges, money-wise.
And we're not stupid either. Why shouldn't I just buy a working sensor when I have the money?
So I did buy one and within a few months there's yet another badge...
