Another subProject past 500k: TRPSieve (it will soon turn Gold)
#2 Re: subProjects
Seems like another bragging thread. I like it. Going to have to look into where i stand, though I'm sure Dirk has a head start on us here

I won a pink shittyhawk/Amethyst-Ruby shitehawk (my 33rd subProject at 1 million credits)
#5 Re: subProjects
I've got a blue shitehawk. Must be a sad seagull.

That's not pink (100,000,000 credits), that's bronze (10,000,000 credits)...

You rubes! That's a double bronze Wildlife badge. There is no pink. You must be referring to their Amethyst-Ruby color. Badge whore rookies
#8 Re: subProjects
And here's a silver one ... if you make a career out of that project you can turn it to gold. They've dropped the credits, still good but not as good. 50M is a long haul for we mere mortals!!
BTW, they released EXACT2 today so for 100 hours you can buy another small WuProp star

My 63rd subProject at 100k: the new GCW Sieve (old GCW sieve is now called CW Sieve by PrimeGrid, FreeDC still calls it GCWSIEVE)
Before me only eight -real heavy- crunchers, some of them (under another name) even active on this forum.

So what is the criteria for a "sub-project" since nothing shows on mine for WCG, Universe, Amicable Numbers, STOP, LHC, NFS, Yoyo, YAFU, etc etc etc.

That's the point, none of that stuff is showing in my sub-project stats. Not a single WCG project (they show on Dirk's) and none of the other stuff I mentioned has a single entry either. Me thinks something is seriously flaky with the stats!

Bryan's subProject stats
WCG doesn't show because Bok needs a code number for that. Funny thing here is that the WCG badges appear in Bryan's FreeDC signature:
Inquiries have been made/Action has been taken
Oproject may need some action too for some people (not for bryan, his badges already show)
Universe has no subProjects, from a FreeDC point of view at least, nor have Amicable Numbers, STOP, LHC, YAFU. With LHC that might change in the near future, but all depends on how LHC handles their part. Data have to be retrievable for Bok too.
For all other badges and/or subProjects, feel free to ask....

Thanks for the help Dirk! So I'm guessing that only those projects that export their stats at the sub-project level are shown. So that must mean that something like Universe that has multiple sub-projects just doesn't supply the data to that level.
I have to admit this is a category that I've never looked at before. I only have a few of the WCG projects over 1M even though I have 22M on the project. I'm in the process of changing that as we speak I was working on upgrading badges when they started a WCG Challenge so I'm playing with that. SUSA is getting our butt kicked but I'm doing fairly well running SCC.
EDIT: See, I've got to change my way of thinking ... it isn't 1M, it is all milestone levels!

Looks like you have to give Bok your verification code for WCG, it is here on this page for everyone (need to log in using your WCG username -hopefully the same over all BOINC projects- and password):

Thanks Dirk. I sent him the info via PM so hopefully WCG will start showing in my stats. That may make a little difference.

They are now showing in the list but they haven't been added to the totals yet ... probably tomorrow. It added 19 100k projects so that will give you something to work on
Again, thanks for the help Dirk!

We can do the same for Mumps [MM], who may be better known here under another name...
BTW: I saw this action added a sort of 'emerald plains' in your subProject scores, adding 17 subProjects mostly with credit levels between 100k and 350k

#20 Re: subProjects
I used to take all WCG projects to the 1 year level and nothing above so they were all emerald. When I got forced into doing a WCG challenge I ran under someone else's account so it didn't mess up the colors. Then we did the 6 week "time" challenge on WCG and it totally screwed up my color scheme. So from now on I will probably take everything above that level. That is what I'm currently working on and I have 3 more active projects to do. SCC that I'm running for the challenge will go to 10 years.Dirk Broer wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2017 5:43 pm
