Issue had nothing to do with permissions. There was an error in the CSS coding which meant that the button was not displaying for non admins. Can finally strike this one off my list.

No idea why as i've changed nothing. if it's any consolation it doesn't show for me either but manually creating a table still works. Connection I'm on is garbage so I have no intention of messing just now. I'll look at it once back on dry land.

Tables should be available again, at least it is to me. Can a non admin confirm you see the table button again ?
I guess the module got corrupted somehow is my best guess.

There is a new version available but I'm wondering whether it aint broke applies to this module ........
