At least I'm feeling the love from my pup
If we crack on at this credit level we may even hit 80th place by the end.
We love you too Alez, that's why we pick on you
It would be nice if the credits would take off but I'm getting less and less optimistic. Earlier today it looked really great but now it is about down where I started. I'm just not getting enough of the high paying WU now ... DANG!!!
It has been paying very well over the past few hours Look at the graph of team credits ... there is a major change in the slope! We're pulling away from TSC! now.
83rd now!
There is clearly no chance of TSC! Russia catching us & whilst Gridcoin could join the fray at any time, more than hallway thru, they've probably already left it too late.

Think last time I looked GC were putting in 3.5 million per day .....

@Pete I wouldn't bunker anything Pete. Open them up with zero resource share and run 1 hr WU. Have NO cache at all. There are new types of WU coming out fairly often and they pay very very well until the project figures out what they are actually worth. After enough have been turned in the project drops the credits on them.

Which might put them with a chance if they join in right now. If on the other hand they delay another few hours then we can start celebrating.

2.9 million today. They will have to jump within the next 24 hours or we are doing the happy dance

Still no sign of Gridcoin so I reckon we've got it in the bag!
Also we are now 81st !
The teams are getting a bit spread out now but we will probably manage to bag 80th & possibly even 79th!
There is a chance of making it to 78th but we will need a good tail wind.
It looks as if 78th is pretty much a certainty - which is remarkable.
Overall victory is 99.9% certain.
Also we look set to bag at least the top five individual places or possibly, teamwork. luck & good judgement allowing, the top seven places.
TSBT now up to 78th on the last daily update for Rosetta@Home

Awesome progress in 2 weeks.
Getting the top 6 individual places was very close.- Much respect is due to tguskill of TSC! Russia who finished in 7th place & who played it straight without bunkering or assistance and who must be wondering what hit him.
As for BOINC UK, the problem is that if you catch them you then need to keep up with them.
Personally, my work is done here (for the rest of the year at least) and in the main my cores will be working on rebooting our WCG revival!

I'll second that, a true team effort. Well done guys.

12 more hours and we crush them, after that keeping up with them shouldn't be a problem. I'll join you on WCG after we have gained another place in the UK rankings.
After that I think we should be able to make 150 for WCG by the end of the year at least.

I continue to be amazed by what you guys not only understand about these various projects, but the "armadas" you have put together to tackle these challenges. Many thanks to Alez, Bryan, and everyone else that helped with the push on this project. Didn't think I'd be seeing a million credits on Rosetta@home for a few years, much less a few days.
The GUSBOX (Linux) suddenly decided to lose wireless networking sometime over the weekend. Finding myself very frustrated with this Lubuntu installation (with Teamviewer and Wireless). May be looking at getting a cheap CD key for Windows 7 or 10 - worst case, I could do a dual boot.
But I'll be switching THOR (Windows) over to WCG after these last few Rosetta WUs finish.
Thanks again for all your support!

Thanks for your effort Lee, and strange about Lubuntu as all my systems on it are more stable than my win7 systems. If you go win then win 7 keys are far cheaper and a better system. What's the issues you are having with lubuntu ? Maybe we can help out.

Right now, my two biggest problems are no wireless and no keyboard - both of which were working previously. When the system boots up, it reports some error. I don't know exactly what it's related to as there is no description.

Is it a driver issue or a usb issue ? Do you have a mouse plugged in ? Try switching mouse and keyboard etc. Post what the error message is on boot up.

I think it is a driver issue. I have an old wireless Logitech combo plugged in. To see if there was interference, I unplugged the mouse and plugged a corded Microsoft mouse in. The mouse works just fine.
I also plugged my wireless adapter into a laptop and it was recognized just fine. So I think all of a sudden there's been some interference with the drivers (but I'm not sure why).
I'll try and get the error message sent to you in a PM this weekend.

OK, does look like for some reason your I/O drivers are corrupt. Let me know what you have and we'll see what's the best way forward.
