I missed the memo! I'll get some GPUs fired up.

EDIT: I know we don't usually focus on SETI but we have a lot of SETI crunchers and they are welcome to push or ask for support for that project. I hope to hear from some of them. Tam is our top SETI cruncher at over 35mil. Let's hear from you Tam!

I don't normally bother with it either, but thought I would share the pain of being away from home by finishing the year on a seti challenge.

The nice thing about Seti is that it is like beating your head on the wall ... it feels sooooo good when you stop

Are you implying that our motivational skills could use some improvement?

What could be more motivational than a complete PITA is a PITA shared ? My choice is Xmas offshore or Xmas at the mother in laws who had a hip replacement yesterday, is it evil to wish to be overseas ?
8 hours or so to go, suck it up buttercups and get on it, If I'm going to be miserable, might as well spread the seasons greetings  though looks like mother in law is the option before new year overseas. Not an issue there, can get pissed any night when home :shifty:

Anywho, I hope everyone is aware of the SETI opti apps. The latest .45 version can be downloaded from here...http://lunatics.kwsn.info/index.php?act ... oads;cat=9

The CPU apps are usually much faster than the apps the project uses. If you run the GPU apps, it allows you to choose the app you want to run based on which runs best on your GPU. The SOG runs best on maxwell and pascal GPUs. The Cuda 5.0 runs well on the maxwell GPUs also. Questions? Just ask.

Tis painful. Two 1080s and a 750Ti can only muster 50k per day. On the bright side, I'm still here to participate!

It's a chore is Seti, but it where we started so I keep running it. But probably not enough to give 100% in a challenge.
Kudos to Alez & scole for their stellar efforts.
I'm content to jog along in 128th place or similar.

My first project, 18 Jul 1999. Things have changed a bit since then, Seti credit, not so much change.

Although I'm up to 102nd in the comp with a couple of days left to run. So if I make the top 100 I'll accept it.
I don't see much chance of overtaking UBT but 9th of 19 is respectable.

I signed up just 2 days earlier on 16th July 1999!
Of course relative credit wasn't an issue when it was the only show in the universe.

Boinc has definitely moved on from it's tentative start. Does this mean I'm an oldie to ? Guess we have both moved Scotland Seti on a bit too over the years :D

My god, this is torture, just send me offshore so I can end this pain. So looking forward to creating havoc on FB in 2018 just to end this tediousness. Why did I do this to myself ??????

Just under nine hours to go.
We are still in 9th - better than tenth. :|
UBT are out of reach. :(
But on the other hand I've snuck into the top 100! 8-) That makes 3 of us, so rejoice.
