Ivan back crunching and we have been joined by Mankka* 6 brave souls versus the might of the USA
At the half way stage we are holding a very comfortable 2nd place and looking very respectable provided SUSA don't drop any MOAB bunkers on us .
Way to go guys

Goofyx has set up a new server to try and keep up with the battering we are giving the project. Well done that man.

Ivan, Mankka, if you are lurking out there, join the forum and say hello! All are welcome, even if you don't crunch for us.

Nay. I only had 181 clients to upload and thankfully they're all done. Twas a busy day Friday. If I had to upload one more client this challenge I would have pulled out what little hair I have left.

That's just sick! What's that about 9 million points? I have to give you credit for your persistence.scole of TSBT wrote: ↑Sat Mar 17, 2018 10:49 pm Nay. Close but the last set was only about 50% complete so a little less. See what you can do when you put your mind to it!Sphynx wrote: ↑Sun Mar 18, 2018 12:43 amThat's just sick! Seems we've now sucked the server dry. Happy days

Yep, most machines are now empty and the others will be within 20 minutes. That sucks!
#50 Re: 15/3-20/3 goofing around - GoofyxGrid@Home CPU
Don't think Goofyx quite realised what the full force of all the SUSA guys and girls coming out to play would entail. Can't say we haven't played an important part in the destruction either I'm sure it will be a learning curve and Goofyx will know to have a lot more units ready for the next challenge. Still, it's been a lot more fun than any of the recent challenges. Next time we'll get them

I've got some work left but not 16 mil worth. Not that I could finish it anyway. On the bright side, by tomorrow I should be within 10k of another 100k purple app.

Dang Scole, I think you broke it again
#54 Re: 15/3-20/3 goofing around - GoofyxGrid@Home CPU
I guess we'll have to concede this one One hell of a run though! I think we almost made them break a sweat to win it
Note to self: when you poke the sleeping giant with a stick don't use the pointy end - it wakes the giant and annoys it!
The project got some good info on where the weak points were. That should really help the project and crunchers in the future. Mission accomplished.

Well I'm goofyed out but I've still got almost a couple days to hit 100k hours
#56 Re: 15/3-20/3 goofing around - GoofyxGrid@Home CPU
And after the 100k hours you'll be so close to the 50M milestone you will have to do that one Of course when you get to 50M you are 1/2 way to the magic 100M levelscole of TSBT wrote: ↑Tue Mar 20, 2018 12:24 am Well I'm goofyed out but I've still got almost a couple days to hit 100k hours

Speaking of the 100M level, TSBT has crossed that threshold and is only the 2nd team to do it. CONGRATS!

I've gone from Norway to Romania in a 22 hour travel odyssey. Did I miss all the fun at the end ?

Nothing dramatic at the end ... same ole, same ole. SUSA had far too many folks show up and hammer it If we'd have had another 24M bunkered we'd have got em The project was up/down/up/down but the admin worked his butt off trying to keep things running. He upgraded the server at least twice.
