Pleasantly surprised by my laptop, i7-7820HQ CPU @ 2.90GHz completes a WU only very slightly slower than the Threadripper 2990WX. Pity it only has 8 threads

Unfortunately (for us) none. I was running RakeSearch and hadn't planned on jumping on this one but I got shamed into it

I'm sure you don't mean me but I'll confess anyhow ... I thought I'd grab a bunch of WU in case they ran out. Unfortunately I forgot to stop WCG also downloading WU. It gave me lots of urgent WU which are hogging my threads even though Acoustics has 10x the priority of WCG. You know me ... I'd hate to abort them

I had a wee bunker drop https://boincstats.com/en/stats/175/use ... B%5D=21251 so I am hopeful that it'll be enough to get me 6th place before the end of the Challenge. Depends if the other guys have anything left in the tank I guess (or are remotely bothered

). Didn't want to leave it any longer as I now have 4500 WU in pending
