Anyone like ELO? I knew you did. One of my favorites too. This is a song about the rush of feelings after seeing a very captivating woman. From 1975...

Greetings fellow Scott's, number crushers, and Caber Tosser's. Just getting back to BOINC and figured this would be a good place to hang up the ol' digital shingle.

On the topic of tunes, I'm a bit of a jazz fan and Euge Grove is on the top 10 of my artist list. A good easy up tempo intro to his work is Play Date, on the same titled album from '02.

Many people have heard his music but couldn't tell you who played it. Many years ago my alarm clock was tuned into a radio station that played this song every morning before they aired a syndicated radio show. I liked the music but had no idea who it was but a few years ago I saw the guy playing it on TV or a video.

Released in 1996 Junior Brown - Surf Medley

Here's the back story about him...

The Centurians - Bullwinkle Part II
Surf Rider · The Lively Ones
Miserlou · Dick Dale
You Never Can Tell · Chuck Berry
The Revels Comanche
Dusty Springfield Son of a Preacher Man

The syndicated morning radio program, The Big Show aka John Boy and Billie, uses a Bustin' Surfboards clip regularly

Today I will treat you to a few songs by a Detroit garage rock band called The Fondas with their fetching lead singer Julie Benjamin. These were all released between 2007-2012...

Written and originally recorded by Johnny o'Keefe and The Dee Jays in 1958 and covered by dozens of other artists, this is my pick for the best take. This chap is the real thing...

How about some old school rockabilly surf! I had never heard of these guys but ran across them on youtube. The guys on the guitars kill it. I love it. From 1962...

Little Remy & The Flying Rockers - Shadoogie

I think this is just the Flying Rockers. Little Remy seems to be a 50s era Bobby Rydell wannabe.

EDIT: They're Dutch!

The wonderful voice of Nanci Griffiths who died last week. RIP Nanci - your music was spectacular

I think this is fool-proof but could you just try it for me please? • There are 10 types of people in the world; those who understand binary, and those who don’t
