Nederland - Home of the Frozen Dead Guy and it's associated festival:
"Celebrating its 19th year in 2020, Frozen Dead Guy Days continues to be a world-renowned spectacle. This home-grown festival pays homage to Bredo Morstol (aka Grandpa), who is frozen in a state of suspended animation and housed in a Tuff Shed on dry ice high above Nederland."

North Ronaldsay
Most northerly of the Orkney Islands and home to a unique breed of sheep which are kept OFF and on the beach by a stone wall built all the way around. Their diet is mostly seaweed and the meat from them is definitely an acquired taste

New Lanark - a very pretty place with a fascinating history.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Lanark
Basically a large-scale social / industrial experiment which had its own currency, education and health systems well in advance of the national norm of the time. Might look a bit dodgy through modern eyes but revolutionary in its day
