I think I've already posted this video in the past but I heard it on the radio today and while I was listening I thought these guys sound like the Sex Pistols. When I searched for a video I realized The Saints did not sound like the Sex Pistols. It's the other way around. The Sex Pistols were influenced by The Saints. So Pete, this is for you. An Aussie band that hugely influenced the Punk music scene...

Another Rock&Roll history lesson tonight. These guys were R&R pioneers. This song is more of an instrumental than vocal track. The vocals had great harmony though. The bass is classic early rock.

An historic rather than musical post but I wondered if our Hungarian contingent knew of a Scot called Jane Haining who died in Auschwitz after refusing to leave Budapest; preferring to stay behind to teach children (of all faiths)

Greetings fellow Scott's, number crushers, and Caber Tosser's. Just getting back to BOINC and figured this would be a good place to hang up the ol' digital shingle.
On the topic of tunes, I'm a bit of a jazz fan and Euge Grove is on the top 10 of my artist list. A good easy up tempo intro to his work is Play Date, on the same titled album from '02.
