hello folks.
So what have I missed in the last few years I've been away?
How is the team doing these days?
Won't come back crunching full time but I might download a project or two to do on the now and then.
What are the best projects just now for the short term sporadic cruncher?
what managers are best these days?
Myself i've been stupidly busy, I now work month on month off abroad so full time crunching is not really possible,
got divorced for less than a week before i remarried!
Still into my cars but the missus has got me into horses so the only farm I have now isn't a CPU rich one but a croft with 8 acres of Scottish heaven for our 3 big horses, 2 miniature shetland ponies, 2 german shepherds and 5 cats!
Mike

Welcome back Mike. I popped back in last year after many years away. I missed the GPU revolution and all that hoopla, but was here while Bitcoin Utopia using SHA-256 ASICs changed BOINC in just as big of way last year. Long story, but we managed to advance TSBT as high as 5th overall, but have slipped back to 6th.
What projects to crunch? Do you want to crunch for credits, team goals, badges? Yes, many projects have badges and a few of us here at TSBT are just plain old badge whores. We'll crunch any project for a badge.
Again, welcome back. I'm sure some of the others you know will pipe up.
Cheers,
Steve, scole of TSBT
P.S. You need to make you a fancy signature graphic and show off your badges :)

Hey, look who's back. Nice to hear from you. I came back about a while ago myself from a couple of heart attacks.
Looking forward to having you around again. Buster

Buster is my dog. Sadly, Buster is gone.
Buster is the Malamute, Obi is the Golden.
Obi is the dog of the house now.

Welcome back Mike. Always good to have a returning cruncher around.
The best form of help from above is a sniper on the rooftop....

So I'm back crunching again on a small scale.
Just one machine running sporadically but it's a toe back in the water.

Small scale is better than no scale though, it all adds up.
Its also a mere motivational speech from Scole away from being on a big scale

I'll let him ease back into this before the hard sell. No hard sell. Not everyone wants to go overboard. And it all helps. Good to have you back
