#1 Getting enough work

Post by Reeltime »

I'm struggling to get work for GPUgrid.

Running 6.4.5 I can't get the project to give me more than 1 wu at a time. When it finishes it waits a wee while, then goes and gets another one...

I upped the resource share on the machine to 100 compared to SPDN at 100. Cache is set to 5 days. Any ideas?

If you suspend CPDN and then force an update of GPUGrid and wait a 20 minutes or so that usually gets 2 or 3 GPU WU. Don't forget to resume CPDN once you've finished.

i think i found the answer to all my prayers in the 6.6.11 dev release! if gets me a queue of gpu grid work and its getting work on its on for all 8 threads for cpdn.

First time i've had a release getting the system doing the maximum possible work without me having to interfear which is nice.
