Hi Everybody
I just wanted to say hello to everyone, members old a new. After an absence of probably over 6 years I have returned to do a bit of crunching. After such a long time away I am sure many things have changed so any advice on what projects to crunch for would be welcome.
I am still using the same computer equipment that I started with, nothing has been upgraded in over 6 or maybe 7 years so I will probably be looking at upgrades as well in due course. Please feel free to point me in the right direct should you have the time and inclination.
Thanks in advance!

Welcome back Gary. Some of us are crunching Gerasim for a team challenge here...https://www.boincstats.com/stats/challe ... /chat/1063
All you have to do is register for the Gerasim@Home project here...http://gerasim.boinc.ru/
then set your team to The Scottish Boinc Team. There's a forum thread for that challenge here...https://tsbt.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=149&t=14253
If work units error out, you will need to install the Microsoft C++ redistributable modules found here...visual-c-restibutable.zip
You'll need the 32 and 64 bit versions of 2010 and 2013.

Hi Gary,
Good to have you back.
As far as upgrades go an AMD Threadripper system (or 2) will take you a long way.
