Good idea, but if we were to pick a point central to Delaware, Aberdeenshire, Yorkshire and the 3rd Iceberg on the left, I think it would be a very wet shindig - mind you I have been to the odd dry island in years gone by ....

That's torn it!... We book a C-130 and fly around the North Pole! After all, there's wet and there's wet. Naturally, us Penguins are quite happy with either... especially "on the rocks".Alez wrote:Well I might as well screw up the planned geographical meeting point Welcome to the Forum.

Where in Yorkshire are you? I lived in Tadcaster for a short while as a kid.

Ey Up! Now then. Sithee!
In the Cleckhuddersfax area. Cleckheaton to be specific - that fabulous area that was once insulted so beautifully by Compo with the comment "That's about as exciting as a day out in Cleckheaton!"

Welcome to the forum.
Always good to have a silent stalwart speak up at last!
The idea of a spatial get together has been suggested in the past. Over the last 13 years I have met no less than 4 forum contributors in real life, but only one at a time, so not quite a shindig.
