Yayyyy, hi everyone.
Very new to all this, well, kinda new to the new way of doing things.
Was interested in the seti programme many many moons ago, and recently discovered it again recently (and found out you can run it on android now) so then found you guys while looking for a team to join.
As I'm only running on android, I doubt I will make any significant contribution to team stats, but hey ho, every point counts eh?
An Englishman that's lived just outside Glasgow for the past 15 years.
In my 40 something's and falling behind on my tech knowledge. Used to be hot on this kind of stuff, but now becoming embarrassingly bad as tech continues to improve.
Probably won't be long until I'm asking my kids how to send an email, just as my dad used to ask me lol.
Anyway, will be floating around as I experiment with boinc and all its fandangled workings.
Catch you all around
Dj

Great to have you on the team. Android is a great way to crunch and there are quite a few more projects offer Android apps than just Seti.
If we can spare some of the embarrassment, feel free to post questions on here before asking the kids, though they probabily know more than we do
Check out the forums for android software and related android hardware.
I'll upgrade your account to full member status.
Once again, welcome onboard. :text-welcomewave:
