About BealF@Home
BealF@Home project is part of the Master Thesis: 'Testing Beal conjecture using supercomputers and distributed computing platform BOINC'.

The predecessor of the project was Beal@Home, which tested the application. Credits with predecessor will not be transferred.

This project is already in its final version (produces scientific results) and should not cause major problems.

BealF@Home is based of
Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin (Poland).

BealF is Linux only. I have created the Team account if anyone wants to give it a go.
Have not ran any units yet so can't comment on its behavior.
Please comment if you have tried it.

Well I gave it a little go on a Linux server. 172 hrs recorded on WUProp and not a single unit completed so no points and no point. Gave up as waste. Anyone else tried it, then let us know if you had any more luck.

Didn't last long. Project is as bad as it's predicessor. There's also a small matter of a wad of cash if the beal conjecture is actually solved ......
http://www.bealconjecture.com/

and the pertinant part ...
By offering a cash prize for the proof or disproof of this important number theory relationship, Andy Beal hopes to inspire young minds to think about the equation, think about winning the offered prize, and in the process become more interested in the wonderful study of mathematics. Information regarding the $1,000,000 cash prize that is held in trust by the American Mathematics Society can be obtained at the University of North Texas web site: http://www.math.unt.edu/~mauldin/beal.html.

Just saying ...........

Maybe a Beal project will pop up where we crunch for shares and the prize money is distributed to everyone based on their total credit.

Well that's it. I'm declaring dead and retiring. Good riddance.
