#1 new sub project - Riemann Zeta Research Project

Post by Alez »

New sub project available on Sztaki for those chasing wuprop badges. Riemann Zeta Research Project.

Riemann zeta research project Locating large values of ζ(s) on the critical line

The aim of this project is locating as many large values of the zeta function as possible on the critical line for statistical analysis. Several thousands of values have been found and many records were achieved by applying some results on simultaneous Diophantine approximations. For large values, see ZETA DB menu. For records and manuscript papers, see download section.

A far more detailed explanation is available here http://riemann-siegel.com/downloads/research_ENG.pdf

Unit run times and points are comparable with FM@H and higher than Eon. Have been running it on a P4. Ideal for older / less capable hardware.

on Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU @ 2.80GHz ( no HT )times approx 1380 secs for 2 1/2 points.
on Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2520M CPU @ 2.50GHz times approx 880 secs for 3-5 points.
on ntel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz times approx 450 secs for 3 1/2 - 4 1/2 points

credit new is just random .......
