#1 Collatz Errors

Post by Bryan »

If you are experiencing errors on Collatz, you are if you're running it, there is a simple fix. Go to your BOINC project folder and look at the "size" of the WU you have. If their size is "0" they are going to fail. The good WU are 1kb.

On the Windows file manager, if you click on the "size" column it will give you choices of filters to sort on. Select the 1st one "0" and it will show you all of the files with that file size. Just do a batch delete.

@Pete - I may be full of crap on that fix. That definitely is the problem, those 0 sized WU files. However, when you delete them from your project folder I'm betting they are still showing in the client state file so it may still try to load them ... even though they no longer exist. It is something that Slicker needs to fix on the server.
