#1 Rosetta needs help!
Just noticed that we've fallen to 100th position on Rosetta, and are due to go down further in 2-3 weeks.
Can anyone spare some cycles for this project to get it back into the (relative) safety of low 90's? I've switched one of my (two) machines back to Rosetta, but it'll take a week to swap out the cache...

Wilco.
I don't want to ease off on CPDN too much but given the chilliness of the May weather I reckon I can get off with setting up a "test rig" using a spare Q6600 and some other bits & pieces. I'll dedicate it to Rosetta & maybe also divert a laptop and my other half's E6600 to it. This should be good for about 2.5K per day which will help.
I've got no real regrets about letting WCG slip away from the top 100 but Rosetta I'm a little bit fonder of and it's rather more salvagable.

I don't think it'll be too hard to get us back up the Rosetta table. The project doesn't seem to be as popular as it once was. Thus a modest RAC of 6K would get us into 92nd place eventually. This is not far beyond our current 4.1K. Over the last two days we have averaged 14K.
I'm far from being the only one who has answered MacD's call to arms so lets keep it up for at least a month or so.

We are back up to 99th for Rosetta with some further gains likely to slowly accrue over the next 4 months. Hang on in there!

And Lo! It cometh to pass. We are still 99th with 96th likely within a couple of months even without any further special effort.

Rosetta really is on the ropes.
Currently we are 98th. Hooever as this shows we shall soon be at risk of sleepwalking out of the top 100th. So get to it, why don'tcha?

Right, Rosetta got some help & it seems to have been enough to avert any immediate danger. The middle term risk is high however and we will need to have a push in about January to keep us okay. Meantime - relax. 8)

So we are 100th for Rosetta. Even at our current 7K per dat this is not a worrying situation.
We should be back to 98th by the end of 2009.
Thereafter we need to pick up the pace but for now... No Worries!

I wouldn't worry too much.
At current rates we will be a fairly safe 97th by the end of the year. We are 95th by RAC which should mean that we are also safe in the longterm.
