I have ran through the recent crunchers on BOINCstats for TSBT and tried to match people to our membership list. Those I have found have all been promoted to active cruncher status which gives full access to the board. If there is anyone I have missed then please post in TSBT team section, DM me or put in a request for change status. I'll need to know your reported name you crunch BOINC under.

I have started cleaning out some accounts that are over 10 years old, have never posted or visited forum in over 10 years.
As we progress through the year i will be deleting accounts that have been inactive for years. Posts will be retained but I have no wish to be in possession of a database with ancient e mail addresses etc. I also will have to consider whether new EU data retention rules apply as climateprediction.org have recently done. They took the decision to delete all accounts that have not been active for over 3 years.
If you are lurking in the background, may i suggest you log in and even post a hello ?

The new European regulation on data protection and privacy (GDPR) is now in force. For greater transparency on how we handle your data and to give you more control over how your data is used users will be required to confirm cookie policy and acceptance of data storage. This won’t change how we behave with your data: as has always been the case, we will never sell your personal data to any third parties and you can get in touch with us to discuss the data we have at any time. As we are now bound by the requirement to remove data once it no longer serves it's purpose, old accounts that have not logged in for 36 months will be deleted. If you have an account on TSBT and wish to continue logging onto the forum but have not done so for a considerable time, I ask that you do so now , accept the cookie policy and post at least once in the forum.
If you have issues logging onto forum, please get in touch via contact us or contact us option at bottom of every page or easier - re register and contact me through DM. I will help as much as I can. Should your account be deleted, re register and contact me via DM and again I will help reinstate your user name .
I intend to retain all old posts.

Just checking in... I have been quietly letting BOINC do its thing and haven't felt the need to check in here, but I'm in the process of moving ISP and I'm slowly going through all my hangouts and updating my logins.

Grum nice to have you back on the forum. I did see you still crunching away in the background. Hopefully a few more of the crowd who beaver away in the background will stop by as well. I've tried to update the accounts of all who I know are active members so you can see the whole forum when you log in.

The next tranche of account clean outs has started. If you haven't logged in to the forum in a few years then I'm afraid you can expect your account to be deleted.

I am glad to hear that something is happening regarding inactive users.
