Hi SolidAir79 & welcome - you've come to the right place. The folks on here helped me hugely when I got started so feel free to ask about anything.

Could you maybe pop up your system spec as that'll be relevant to most questions. Oh, and whether you use Windows, Linux or both :-)

No problem i7 8700k @ 5.1 ghz delided 32gb cl 14 ram @3200mhz and a rtx 2080 hybrid on windows 10

wowsers - you can do some damage with that. 5.1GHz would heat a small house, no?

I'm a noob i have a push pull kraken on the 8700k so 72 degrees on one core rest 70 at most and the gpu is at 52 degrees starts 2115mhz settles @2070 .
Im a martial artist so i believe in fighting smart so how do i optimise ?

Key is the deliding with liquid metal knocked 12 degrees off the temp!

Which boinc projects have you tried running or haven't you got as far as that yet?

Have SETI on the gpu and most of the community grid projects on the cpu, have to hit the hay myself fishing with old man at Ballater the morne

That's the posh end of Aberdeenshire !! You'll find me in working-class Huntly. Our friends have the trout loch at Artloch but perhaps you're more into river fishing. Enjoy !
