Cases, more trouble than they are worth.

:) Leave your sytems naked, the fans on them and (security permitting) the doors open.
As you say with a lead of 4.3 million over our amphibian rivals we can reasonably claim 2nd place. :wav:
Your individual second also looks secure and I think I might just about steal 4th.
I managed over 3 million for collatz yesterday - at last a profitable alternative to being a DiRTGen credit whore! :wav: Not that there's anything wrong with that!

I've been surpised at how well I've done and how much credit I've gained as I thought that Primegrid was the best alternative to dirt credits but my 7970 loves collatz, heat issues aside.
Running with the case open simple sends the temps through the roof, seems that the cards ( there are 3 in each of Orac and Caro ) are too close together for proper cooling without a positive pressure air flow.
Doors and windows open all day but bugs at night preclude that. We seem to be having a plague of daddy long legs here at the moment. My pet bats can't keep up with the numbers. I'm sure some of them are so fat they can't fly

If we were to keep up our current rate we would have UK #1 in Collatz in 2-3 weeks. Think after the milkyway challenge my GPU's are back here.
Simap will have no work until sept 1st so we need an alternative for the last challenge.

Congratulations and thanks to all who crunched for the team. A great result beaten only by a team with far more members.
That's a first and a second we have achieved in the two challenges so far, which is brilliant. Onwards to the Milkyway challenge starting on Monday morning

				Woo Hoo!
Well done everyone. Pleased as I am with the individual 3rd place (if I'd been running it optimised from the outset I might have grabbed 2nd!

) I'm even more pleased with the number of you helping out. We obviously have lots of lurkers here.

You very might well have, but then I wouldn't have told you how to

( at least not until it was too late ). Skullduggery beats crunching power sometimes......
