Hi guys n gals,
just got back from a family week away in the slightly warmer, but equally wet, South (actually it was 5 miles North of here by latitude - why can't mapmakers draw straight lines for borders?). I left the farm chugging away for the week. Only one box decided to through a wobbler, and by the look of it, just an hour after we left
I managed to browse the forums a few times while away, but didn't want to log in because the wifi system was was unsecured and Mrs N would have clouted me with a frying pan anyway
Talking of Mrs N, we had an eventful last night (no it's not what you're thinking
). Unfortunately, due to a gravity wave passing at the very moment Mrs N was walking down some wet steps, we spent the night in A&E (the ER for our friends from the colonies). So no sleep in the last 24hrs, three very tired kids and a dog who still needs walked. All's well that ends well though, no fractures luckily, just huge bruising and a bad sprain. She is under orders to rest for a few days, so it looks like beans on toast at chez Nightlord for the weekend and the nearest BK or Big Mac is 15 miles away.
Wish me luck.....
