But for a good cause!
On Sunday the 31st of May I, along with 3 colleagues, will be running the Edinburgh Marathon Hairy Haggis Relay Race. We will be raising funds for the Scottish Association for Mental Health, Scotland's main campaigning group for people with mental health problems. My own part in this endeavour will be to run a mere 8 miles of the total 26.2 miles.
If you are so minded you can make a donation to this via
this page.
Thank you. :)

Another who could only make a small contribution here I'm afraid (boilers and bathrooms aren't cheap, but we'd delayed it as long as we could!).

Thanks too to Mike.
The AlsoRans, as we amusingly and self-deprecatingly style ourselves, did not too badly and, despite roasting temps we did the distance in well under 4 hours.
I'll post official times and photos when I have them.

Thank-you.
The official time was 3h 51m 59s
Our team was 257th of 932 that finished.
I did my eight miles in 1h 16m 11s which given the conditions, and mine, is okayish.

Unfortunately our glamorous Team Captain, Lindsay, Malcolm's wife & my boss, seems to have avoided the cameras.
I'd like to point out from personal experience that the best way for a female to remain described as glamorous is to avoid exertion when in public - especially on hot days - and if that's not possible, to at least make sure there are no photos to document the less than glamorous truth. =)
Well done all of your team!

You forgot an option to have male slaves in attendance using large osterich feather fans and the female sporting cool Italian sunglasses as an alternate option whilst riding on a suitable vehicle with voile curtains.
OFC that would following bathing, not in Asps Milk, but Sure for Women or some other such liquid.
Congrats by the way I seemed to have missed the excitement.
