With just under a day gone we are up to 8th. The challenge seems to have overloaded the MW servers and so no-one has made as much progress as they might have. The project is back on line though.

Well, a couple of days in and we are sitting in a comfortable eighth place, with nearly a million separating us from the team either side.

Great stuff. We are beginning to pull clear of Team China again. Catching AMD Users might be trickier but we've got a day & a half left so let's see.

I installed my nice shiny HD5870 last night into a fresh Windows 7 installation. But, Doh!!! I forgot that the Win 7 power save defaults put everthing to sleep after a few minutes so the new card was giving it big zeds while I was. But we are both awake now and, servers willing, it should make a difference.

Indeedy. Team China are off the leaderboard completely and the new number 10 Crystal Dream are pretty much out of contention.

We are slowly closing on AMD Users but too slowly to be of real use.

This is the first team challenge I have actively participated in and it is good to see how these challenges develope. I only wish I had started sooner.

The latest development is that Milkyway seems to be grinding to a halt again - the stats are barely moving & I certainly can't get any work for it.
