Given the notification of no work until the new year, I'm going to announce this challenge as CANCELLED.

I'll leave it in here until something official happens though.

What can I say? Technically this challenge has started, but with the project not distributing work it hasn't so much as managed a whimper let alone starting with a bang!

Ah well, there's always next year. :)

Yes, just as we had all given up, Boincsimap distributes some work, and 2 hours ago the challenge finally started.

9 teams have credit. We are 5th of that with a mighty tally of 74 credits.

NOTE that the front page still has the normal 'The project has currently no work (see below).' message but that this is not true!

There will be random chunks of work available over the next month and a whole new SIMAP launching (hopefully) in December.

Well, for a challenge that looked like it wouldn't happen, there were quite a few cobblestones dropped over the time. Despite the surprise start and thus commitments to other projects we've managed an amazing 5th out of 22!! :)
