Dear members of the Scottish Boinc Team,
For Nov 16th to Nov 22nd 2010
SETI.Germany is arranging a challenge at World Community Grid on the occasion of the grids sixth birthday:
The 6th Birthday Challenge
We would like to invite the Scottish Boinc Team to participate in the challenge and hope that many of you will be joining.

Oops, nearly missed this one.
Megacruncher, can you pop over
to here and enter us? If you do it before midday I think we will start with everyone else... Worst case is we'll be a half-day/day late.

Despite the late start we are already 50th of 127 entered teams. Promising, considering the headstart that everyone else had.

44th of 129 now. Not exactly stellar but heading towards respectability.

Our momentum continues to carry us forward, sort of: up to 43rd of 129 entrants now. 2 days to go.

Into the last 18 hours now and we are (unsurprisingly!) still in 42nd, 200k shy of 41st....
One last day of effort. CHARGE!

Anyway, the final scores are in and we didn't
quite manage 250+k in less than a day
so finished where we were,
in 42nd place. Out of 129 who enterred. :)

I think we can be quite happy with this as we were over a day late starting a six day challenge, and this is hardly one of our
