Okay, we have just over 3 million to go, so I'm going to place my final guess. I reckon that we will hit the mark later this morning at 7 o'clock.
I must say it's gone a bit quiet so either you have all forgotten about this, or more likely you are all lurking silently staying up all night and I am the first to blink.
Anyhow the result will be clear by breakfast time.

It was Alezevo1 with the exact guess of 5am. Well done. I hereby declare Mornington Crescent!

On a brief and somewhat unfocused examination of TJ's graphs I do, hereby, officially declare that Mega was quite right and the aforementioned target was reached sometime between 4:00 am and 5:00 am this morning...
Whereupon, wherewithal and whatsoever I am constrained to declare that d***ed caribbean pirate, alezevo1, the winner with a finely executed reverse shunt at the last minute... the which had most of us fooled! The winner will receive a £20 Amazon voucher (no, I am not sober! - and no, it is not enough to get you another GPU worth speaking of unless it fell off the back of a truck in Guangdong!)
(I am only somewhat mollified by the discovery that, according to Wikipedia, some 21% of anguillan exports are alcoholic beverages which is a positive incentive for my new startup in ice cube exports... )
With a beautifully elegant Fosbury Flop at the finish line the official runner-up is Megacruncher who wins a £10 Amazon voucher.
Will the winners please PM me with their eMail addresses and I will forward said prizes over the weekend.

Hurrah!
Under the rules I get a prize for loosing and for spotting the winner. Can't say more perverse than that!

Yarr, victory for the pirate more booty for me locker
However I am an honorable pirate I support both the RNLI and the RAF Benevolent Fund and would ask that rather than giving me a prize , donate my winnings to one of these 2 charities or Help for Heroes.
On a completely different note, an analysis of my drinks cupboard indicates that 21% of the Anguillian alcohol exports end up fueling my forum posts
Mojito time !!!!

Tough choice... A € 25 donation has been posted to the RNLI today who have said "Thanks" which, I believe, extends itself to the team on account of "honourable piracy being somewhat contagious". 8)alezevo1 wrote:However I am an honorable pirate I support both the RNLI and the RAF Benevolent Fund and would ask that rather than giving me a prize , donate my winnings to one of these 2 charities or Help for Heroes.

Thank you very much for starting this competition and for fronting the prizes. I'm sure the RNLI will make good use of your generosity.PinkPenguin wrote:Tough choice...
