About CONVECTOR
CONVECTOR is a research testing project, which use volunteer computing. Now we calculate optimum of discrete optimization problem, at first the optimum of 10-bar truss is searched for. Note thet we need approx 8500 cores/days (one core count is 23 years). You can participate by downloading and running a free program on your computer.

CONVECTOR project is the first attempt to volunteer counting on department of mechanics, CTU Prague.

Work units:

Nor progress bar. Take approx 30 mins.

Seems to be if they take over 1800 secs you get fixed 11.35, if under 1800 secs you get 9.55

Not a great return

progress bar doesn't work. I had 1 unit run 2hrs for 77 credit, others seem to average 1 - 1 1/2 hrs for 35 - 55 credit.
Not linked to boincstats yet either.

Getting better, very few units error out now. Stats are now reported on boincstats and on UBT stats service.
