This one started 2 days ago. Got some cores on it now to help Skywalker and Pink Penguin who are flying the flag for us in a respectable 5th place so far. Can we grab 4th from les neighbors ?

It would appear not as they have just dropped 10 k into the pot in the last hour  Time to concentrate on our own challenges for this month.

Oopsie!

I thought I'd help with this one & so at the same time as most of the farm was offline with the GPUs cooking up a ton of Primegrid units the CPU cores were doing likewise for NfS. Strangely uploading these didn't do much to our stats. :?

In due course I worked out that I'd got my NFS@Home mixed up with NumberFields@Home! That's 25K of CPU gone in the wrong direction! What a :knob: !

Since then I've got a few PCs onto the right project but I think it is too little to late. Mediocre mid-table respectability should be our highest aspiration here.

me too... seems in my absence, my scheduler thinks it knows best, has downloaded over 800 hrs of RNA and SLinCA, binned everything else and now seems to be sitting doing sweet fa. And I think the ATI card is sulking at having to do primegrid and has called a strike, or more likely, the scheduler has downloaded shed loads for the nVidea and so now the ATI is starved. I really wish we could turn the damn scheduler off and manage what we crunch by ourselves !!!!!
Going to have to grovel over the phone to the other half to try and fix the damage for a slightly better showing in the second part.

Why is it that every time I try to creep up on Mega he disappears into the distance like a water skeeter on steroids... :D

What? You'd have been hard pushed to creep up on me on this one given I have been bringing up the rear throughout.

Anyhoo it is over: mid-table mediocrity well & truly claimed 6th of 12. We did respectably on the individual front, nowhere near the medals but all of us the first half of a 91 user field.

Me thinks a lot of crunchers moved to the PrimeGrid competition. I remained at 22 with not much increase. Works for me.
