Currently, they only have 333Mh/s NCI (no cpu) and cgminer 20+GH/s apps for the ASICs and only a handful of the 20+Gh/s have been generated. None available. Still testing I suppose.

Taken direct from the milkyway site. http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/for ... hp?id=3591

Friends....

Another Boinc project has come aboard to help us fundraise for Milkyway.

Bitcoin Utopia has agreed to team up with us on fundraising for Milkyway's future. To take part in this type of assistance for our project, please go to their site and follow their procedures.

Their program for Milkyway is Campaign #3.

We truly appreciate their support!

Disclaimer: The Milkyway project staff, students and moderators are not responsible for any issues your computer may have with their WU's. Please follow their recommendations for optimal results (credits are pretty nice too!). Any concerns or questions over how their project raises funds should be posted on their website for their admins to assist.

The Admins of Bitcoin Utopia are fantastic people and my experience shows they will do whatever they can to assist you.

Also remember Bitcoin Mining is not a quick process so the Bitcoin Utopia folks and us want to remind you to still donate in the more direct manner if you wish to.

Any support is appreciated tremendously!

In order to benefit Milkyway, be sure to crunch only these Campaign 3 apps...
cgminer (Campaign #3) (for 333MH/s ASICs - NCI)
cgminer (Campaign #3) (for 20+GH/s ASICs-multitasks)
bfgminer (Campaign #3) (for 20+GH/s Blade erupter ASICs-multitasks)
cgminer (Campaign #3) (for 1.6+GH/s ASICs-multitasks)
cgminer (Campaign #3) (for 1.6+GH/s ASICs - NCI)
CudaMiner (Campaign #3) (for Nvidia GPU)
sgminer (Campaign #3) (for ATI GPU)

Select the app suitable for for your hardware and if running one of the ASIC apps, be sure to use the app_config.xml to limit the number of concurrent tasks to 1. This is a app_config.xml which will work for both...
cgminer (Campaign #3) (for 1.6+GH/s ASICs-multitasks) and
cgminer (Campaign #3) (for 20+GH/s ASICs-multitasks)

<app_config>
<app>
<name>C-cgminer</name>
<max_concurrent>1</max_concurrent>
</app>
<app>
<name>C-cgminer-rbox</name>
<max_concurrent>1</max_concurrent>
</app>
</app_config>

Dear MilkyWay@home supporters,

In the past day, we received $4432.50 in donations, which puts us over our goal to be able to run MilkyWay@home through summer 2015!!! This is a tremendous relief to the development team, and gives us time to find ways to operate into the uncertain future. We are extremely thankful to our generous donors. We will be working harder than ever to produce new and cool science results, develop new algorithms for MilkyWay@home, and keep the operations running smoothly.

Thanks again,
Heidi Newberg and the MilkyWay@home team

I'm hoping they relaunch this one :?
I really wanted another ~200 wuprop hours on it.
Added to the fact they don't really have much other work on the go, I'm beginning to wonder if the BU bubble might be deflating...

They are on to it:
We nearly end up with all current projects but there are some projects on the list:

- extending boincstats (contacted willy and waiting for a go)
- GPUGrid (admins contacted)
- BOINC (has talked with David Anderson but waiting for a solution)
- PIGrid (contact still open)
- extending milkyway (planned)
- BU campaign (in progress)
- WCG Leishmaniasis results (contact still open)
- Radioactive@home (left a message in forum)
- SAT@home (contacted)

If someone else has some good projects not only BOINC let us know or leave a message.

Thx for reading!
