This project has several apps that run on Nvidia and ATI GPUs and crunches GPU tasks similar to other projects. When you create your Bitcoin Utopia account a default preferences will be created with all of the applications selected. If you don't want to run CPU or ASIC apps, remove those apps from your preferences. The difference with this project is the ASIC apps. Even if you don't have an ASIC, if the app is selected, it will download and attempt to run. So, be sure to remove any apps you don't want to download and run (or attempt to run).

The GPU apps are:
sgminer (Campaign #1) ATI
sgminer (Campaign #2) ATI
CudaMiner (Campaign #1) Nvidia
CudaMiner (Campaign #2) Nvidia
CudaMiner (Campaign #3) Nvidia
sgminer (Campaign #3) ATI

Crunching Bitcoin Utopia raises funds for the following non-profits...
Campaign #1 generates donations for Aquaponics.
Campaign #2 HopeGames – Values eMentoring Project
Campaign #3 MilkyWay@home, trying to raise $20,000 to help fund the project

For clarity,
Cudaminer for nVidia
sgminer for ATI.

Currently, I believe, there is still some coding to finalise with the apps as all units run for the same time and give the same credit, regardless of the speed of the GPU.

Looks like they've reduced the credits per WU to be on scale with other project GPU app WUs. In the same range as Mikyway, Einstein and some Prime Grid apps anyway.

i'll not be using my GPUs for Bitcoin. No point in getting Milkyway level credits for running Bitcoin when you can get them for something a little more credible like, err.., Milkyway>
