This may already be well known among more experienced Boincers, but I just realized if you use Windows Remote Desktop to connect to a system, the Boinc client on the system you connect to will disable all GPUs and ASICs and list the status of WUs requiring those devices as "GPU missing". :x

That's why I use a KVM switch...I just bought an eight-port Cybex Switchview, complete with eight KVM cables, for less than the price of one new KVM cable :drunken:

Hi Alez, how do you show all of your badges in your signature? Mine keep falling of....
(already set it to 50%, but doesn't seem to work)

You need to get a wider monitor Dirk ;)

My monitor is wide enough, but there's more than three inches on both sides of the screen that isn't used because this page is too narrow :albino:

Dirk,
For a signature like below

Image

go here http://signature.statseb.fr/index.py
find yourself, create account, customise the signature to your liking and then add the url to your signature line in your profile here on the forum.
Is that what you want or do you need something more specific, ie formatting ?

His signature is already from Signature for BOINC users. He just has too many badges to display in our forum pages. With BU and SRBase, probably a lot more badges now than when the signature setup was last updated. Needs more rows.

I admit to being a compulsive badge beaver, but.. This site could try to use a 'fit to screen width' width -100% instead of a fixed number of pixels- to fix the problem too...

Badge whores.

I just converted my WCG MCM badge from ruby to emerald, UGM should go from gold to ruby soon, working on getting Clean Energy ruby, Ebola going silver soon, then gold and hopefully ruby. And working on that next GPUGrid molecule badge. But who's keeping track? :D

One badge whore to another, it's an impressive set of badges. I've missed out on the OProject and many WCG badges in the past.

With oProject you maybe missed out on a few badges, but trust me, that's all you missed out on.
