Asteroids challenge is almost over, but no time to rest. Time to bunker for the Universe@Home challenge!

Day of Sun ? Should be queried under trades description act in Scotland. Burning up the asteroids units left and starting to raise the pendings levels here.

A day to go. Get ready

Problem after this is leiden comp, pogs comp or rosetta. Rosetta has fallen to 100 in the world and will need to be rescued.

Doesn't look good, less than an hour to go, 0 tasks ready to send, validator and assimilator down. If this is a bust from the start going to switch to Rosetta and ignore the comp.

Completely ran out of units, nearly all returned are pending. All my systems have now picked up backup projects and are crunching those so not going to abort those to get back into competition. Not fair on the backup projects to do that. Universes loss is Rosetta's gain.

We don't seem to have had much luck with competitions recently.
Its a real pain when you plan to run something and there's no work or it keeps running out.

@Alez, thank you! That kept me from having to shoot back at an old friend. I'm sure that my 144 threads are what caused the project to run out of work

I did think the posted comment was a little out of order

What's the point in entering a competition if you don't enter to win and complaining that ' his threads are bigger than my threads ' or ' he bunkered and I didn't ' is a little childish to put it mildly. 5 of the top 7 are all you seti.USA guys who have obviously decided to play hard on this comp and that fact should be celebrated not moaned about.
and I am impressed at how much havoc you guys managed at the server end

keeps the admins from getting complacent and hopefully results in an improved service both for the project and for us in the future.
35 hours left on the comp and the transisioner is still falling further behind. Doubt it will catch up before the end. Oh well, at least I will get all the pendings at some point

A good result, especially considering the issues that were encountered along the way!
Looking forward to the rest of my units validating over the coming days
