Hope this doesn't break any forum rules .
I found a computer shop in the UK that I bought a couple of components from and at about retail prices while others are price hiking.
RTX 3090 £1499 ,5950X MOBO combo £970

Thank you for getting back to me. :-) I am looking for the 3090 card, but they are out of that. About 1/2 year ago I got on their waiting list, and still waiting to hear back. I guess people with deeper pockets got them as fast as they came on the market.

The elite membership should mean you get stepped up in the queue also if it were me I would be looking at the 3080ti or 3080 now!
The larger memory draws alot of power and very little gain in crunching from what I have seen hence the 3080ti should get higher clocks since it is cooler and has less memory and nearly the same cores 😎

I am listening, thanks for the advice. Too bad most new computers come only with one gpu card. They use the 3080 in the computers as a gimmick to sell probably subpar computers.
