Don't forget DirT and RNA!

Optima is saying they will have steady work starting in 1-2 months.

Was going to join the forum and request VGTU and Dennis be added , but then read through it and decided it would be a complete waste of my time.
See some of our favourite teams are still with us ...... let battle commence

Poor Rechenkraft.net! They won league 2 last year and got tossed into league 1.

You know, one FB strategy might be that late in the season we push a team into the lead so they get the privilege of competing in league 1 also

Let's see, raise AMD.users RAC by 3.5M a day for the last month and whammo

If you definitely want to do that, do it with a project that AMD Users has almost no credits for, e.g. Cosmology@Home, GPUGrid, Einstein@Home or so...And Formula Boinc is more than just RAC based, it is explained here

Check out rule #8:

Teams are splitted in 3 divisions, after calculation of their average RAC of November the year before. RAC Division thresholds are fixed to 0, 1 million and 10 millions credits.

3.5M/day would bounce you guys above 10M.

TSBT is currently doing very well in the Formula Boinc challenge, but it lasts until 12/01/2016 and a lot can happen. I'm sure there will be changes in the standings between now and then. A big thanks to the TSBT members to have been helping so far but we could certainly use more help targeting certain projects. If you are interested in joining the chatter, let us know (either PM or post here) and we'll get you added to our Formula Boinc discussion thread. :brave:

Don't let those crooks push you guys around! Grab 'em by the nose and kick 'em in the a$$

Retvari Zoltan joined their team. Isn't he one of BU's biggest critics? Makes me wonder if people really know what they've agreed to.

nanoprobe too?

What I can't figure out if is people are simply looking to be paid while they're running systems to crunch for other projects, I have to think it would pay better to mine bitcoin (for yourself, not BU) to make a little money on the side. I'm still curious if anyone has actually exchanged gridcoins for dollars, euros or other non-crypto currencies.

Interesting? I just watched the Boinc video on the TSBT Home page and after David Anderson is done you see the Boinc logo with the Gridcoin logo right next to it. Looks like Berkley has given them their stamp of approval.

Is gridcoin not run through the grid republic manager as well ?
Retvari Zoltan was the one that kicked off all the $hit on GPUgrid about banning BU, not ' real ' science etc. The hypocrasy runs deep in that one.
Nanoprobe stopped runniing BU quite a while ago. We to have lost a few long term team members to Gridcoin. I only hope they get bored and return to us. Any that are considering it then you are more than welcome home.
I have stopped running the gridcoin app in BOINC as there has still been no explaination as to what it is actually doing on my system.

If team poaching is not the main goal, they need to figure out a way to allow people to participate and reward people for all crunching. I might mine gridcoin if they did that and got rid of the team requirement. I would still like to know what type of resources are used on system to mine gridcoin. Is there just a cpu app, gpu? How any tasks per system, 1 or multiple? What % of a core is used per task? How much does it pay? I'm not interested enough to dig through a dozen web sites researching this for a day though.

Exactly Dirk, I felt the same when my credit vanished. I'm a volunteer not an idiot providing them with free computing power and electricity. If they can't get the basics right, like explaining what it does and backing up the database regularly then I have no intrest in their little secret project.

TSBT is doing quite well well in the Formula Boinc 2016 challenge. :) We're still holding on to 1st but it's a long time until the end of November. Here is a screen shot of our project standings.

I see some TSBT members hitting multiple projects and it's really helping. I'd like to give a kudos to some of the TSBT members hitting these projects. I may have missed a project. There's so many. 8) If you'd like to be added to our FB discussion thread, just let me, Alez or Janos know and we'll get you added. Some of you have already been added. Why beating you guys of course :D Bit of a david and goliath between the numbers of crunchers but I'm sure we can have some fun keeping you guys honest and trying to give you a decent fight for once. As long as we settle a few ' scores ' with a few other teams  then we will be happy

OcUK took back 1st in NSF a couple days ago, but we've rallied back. I have a feeling this is going to go back and forth all year. The good news though is, with over a 7 million lead ahead of the 3rd place team, I don't think either OcUK or TSBT are likely to finish worse than 2nd this year.
