New BOINC client 7.6.29 is available to download
here
It includes a fix for the stuck png downloads that plague WCG.

New boinc software you say, i'll have to pencil in some time to do the upgrade.

So did they fix any bugs or just add new ones?

Seems OK so far, but only time will tell. I'm sure there will be something lurking ...... All my current windoze systems running it.
