#1 New Boinc Client for Android version 7.4.43

Appears there's a relatively new version for Android OS here

Has anyone installed it? Does it allow a connection from another system, such as using BoincTasks? Older versions didn't.

Android will work under BoincTasks, provided you use NativeBoinc -so an incredible old Android.

I want a version that will install to the 8/16GB ROM instead of RAM as required by NativeBoinc and allow another system to connect to it

All the versions I've tried before do not allow external access, so pointless for more than 1 client. Huge glaring fault that has been brought up time and again but still not fixed other than in the now old and unsuported nativeBoinc.

Make that an incredible old
BOINC client. You can install NativeBOINC on Android 3 and 4 for sure, and probably on 5 and 6 too.
As my BeagleBone Black has stopped working under Android 4.4.4 -it only shows the Android logo when booting-
I will
- Upgrade the BeagleBone Black to take Android 5.1
- Install NativeBOINC again
- Try to update the BOINC client under NativeBoinc to 7.4.43
I'll let you know if this can be done as soon as possible

Not yet, the BeagleBone is currently running Beagle Debian...
