Any interest in a PG challenge? I'm ready to test my new setup on PG.

I'll race you ... your new setup versus my new setup - mano a mano!scole250 wrote:Any interest in a PG challenge? I'm ready to test my new setup on PG.
Your new GPUs against my new CPUs. I'm betting the CPUs will kick butt

Surely you jest
. I'm going to pull the 7970s and put in the old nvidias for the challenge too just to see what it will all do and get a little closer to the next PPS Sieve badge. I did a little more than 4mil per day during the Pentathlon.
I'm expecting the rest of the pirate hoard :pirate: Will Megacuncher stay with PG for the challenge too? Lee Carver has a 770 that loves sieve. We have some other PG crunchers that will hopefully stay on PG through the challenge..

I'll tuck my tail and run ... I concede

Is there any other way to run a challenge?Da Seeker wrote:I guess I can give Collatz a rest for four days. I'll be in it. Can we bunker in this race?

PG only gives 100 WU in progress and it can take up to a day for pending to clear. If you are starting on PG from a flat start it's a toss up whether it's better to build up pending or bunker 100 WU.

Can be handy to have some SOB WUs (sons-of-bitches) ready to finish....

Understood. The NFS project needs more crunchers on the 16e app right now anyway.

I know the feeling. After last year's electric bill I cut down on bitcoin and GPU crunching. Was quite a shock.

The best form of help from above is a sniper on the rooftop....

It started a few hours ago. TSBT jumped out and took a quick lead but LAF passed us. SETI.Germany and Gridcoin not far behind. Anyone need to update their PG badges?

I always want to upgrade my PG badges - it's getting enough credit that's the problem
