Forum sections are now collapsable so you can now reduce the forums you rarely look at and save on the scrolling

If they are collapsed will "new posts" made to the collapsed forums still show up?

As soon as you un-collapse the forum they will show. You will also still be notified if you have set notify me and they show in the new posts link in the index bar.
