We'll be keeping the Formula Boinc Sprint threads in this section of the forum from now on. No strategy talk here. Just banter.

We don't need strategy: We just need to all turn up!

I'd rather prep for a colonoscopy instead of trying to get vbox WUs running

this is as fecked-up as i've ever known Rosetta to be ... and that's a fairly high bar
I think this is fool-proof but could you just try it for me please? • There are 10 types of people in the world; those who understand binary, and those who don’t

As the great philosopher already posted on their forum:
Grant,
Darwin NT
The last batch that died like that only did so on Windows systems, but processed OK on LINUX. Looks like they fixed the problem with those Tasks so these new ones now fail on all systems."Why am I even bothering to try and contribute to the solving of corona when everything keeps coming up with this problem?
Grant,
Darwin NT

TSBT has taken 1st on day 1 and day 2. Day 3 began about 2 hours ago. Let's keep up and make a clean sweep on sprint 3

How can you see the sprint scores? All I get is Python errors.scole of TSBT wrote: ↑Sat Apr 09, 2022 4:49 pm TSBT has taken 1st on day 1 and day 2. Day 3 began about 2 hours ago. Let's keep up and make a clean sweep on sprint 3

more than 4M points ahead of 2nd place (across the 3 days)

For those who ran any of the vbox WUs, check the rosetta project folder on your system(s) and see if it left a 8GB virtualbox image. If you don't intend to run any more rosetta vbox WUs, delete the virtualbox files and reclaim that disk space. Also check the slots folder and delete any orphaned virtualbox files left over from aborted or failed vbox WUS. Again, another 8GB for each slot folder with leftover vbox WU files in it

Difference being that I had selected 'Nederlands' as language, which then turns intoDirk Broer wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 3:22 amNope, I was using https://formula-boinc.org/sprint_v2.py? ... =&sprint=3, that you can reach by choosing the third challenge herescole of TSBT wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 3:02 amAre you using this link? https://formula-boinc.org/sprint_v2.py? ... n&sprint=3

formula-boinc.org/sprint_v2.py?year=2022&lang=&sprint=3, but gives
formula-boinc.org/sprint_v2.py?year=2022&lang=nl&sprint=3 as url, which also gives a Python error.
Choosing 'English' gives the proper results.
